The Institute of International Law was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1904 for its action in favour of arbitration among States, and continues to make a major contribution to the progressive development and codification of international law. This briefing focuses on three topical issues: Mass Migrations; Review of Measures Implementing Decisions of the Security Council in the field of Targeted Sanctions; and Provisional Measures.
