Visiting professor: Cornell University, Munich University, Texas Law School, Oxford Law Faculty, Columbia Law School. Member of the Italian delegation to many diplomatic conferences and negotiations. Consultant to UNESCO and President of the World Heritage Committee (1997-1998). Ad hoc judge ITLOS and arbitrator PCA.
