Prizes instituted by J.B. Scott
Andrés Bello Prize
The jury of the Andrés Bello Prize was composed of Mr Pierre-Marie Dupuy, Ms Jeannette Irigoin-Barrenne and Mr Dire Tladi.
In total 18 manuscripts were submitted: 11 in English, 6 in French and 1 in Spanish.
Two manuscripts were awarded the prize:
- “Business and Human Rights: The Role of EU Member States in Developing Accountability Mechanisms for Corporations from Developing and Emerging States” by Dr Aleydis Nissen
- « La compétence universelle du juge en droit du travail » by Dr Baptiste Delmas.
Special James Brown Scott Prize
Another call for manuscripts is running with as deadline 31 December 2022. The subject matter is “The Institute of International Law”. Are eligible dissertations from a legal and/or historical perspective relating to the work or functioning of the Institute, to its members, its relations with other institutions and its impact in international law and international relations in general.
